ABOUT AFRYWOCC

Who We Are

The African Women and Youth Climate Centre (AFRYWOCC) is a pan-African organisation committed to advancing gender-responsive climate action, environmental justice, and sustainable development across Africa. We empower women, youth and children to become leaders and active contributors in shaping resilient and inclusive communities.

Through advocacy, strategic partnerships, policy influence, innovation and capacity building, AFRYWOCC works to address the interconnected challenges of climate vulnerability, gender inequality, and youth unemployment. We believe that women and young people are powerful agents of change and central to Africa’s sustainable future.

Guided by collaboration and impact- driven action, AFRYWOCC continues to build transformative solutions that align with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Africa Agenda 2063, and global climate commitments.
